At dubas.pro, we use Microsoft Teams as our primary communication platform for online meetings with customers. Whether you're discussing a new integration, requesting a feature, reporting an issue, or participating in a training session — Microsoft Teams provides a reliable, secure, and user-friendly environment for effective collaboration.

We’ve prepared this FAQ to help you understand how our online meetings work, what you need to join, and what to expect during and after the call.

✅ What do I need to join a Microsoft Teams meeting?

To join a meeting with us, you don’t need any special software if you're joining from a browser — though the Microsoft Teams desktop app is also supported and may provide a smoother experience. Here's what you'll need:

  1. A stable internet connection. A wired connection is great, but a good Wi-Fi signal will usually do the job just fine.
  2. A microphone. This is essential for effective two-way communication. External or headset microphones often offer better sound quality than built-in laptop mics.
  3. A quiet space, if possible. It helps keep the meeting focused and ensures everyone can hear each other clearly.

Webcams are not required. In fact, we typically don’t use cameras during meetings. This helps improve the connection quality and ensures the meeting runs smoothly, especially in cases where bandwidth might be limited.

🖥️ Can I share my screen during the meeting?

Yes, and we often encourage it! Screen sharing makes it much easier for us to understand your context, especially when you're showing us an issue, configuration, or specific workflow in your EspoCRM.

You’ll have the option to share:

  • Your entire screen, which is useful when switching between multiple applications.
  • A specific application window, which keeps the focus on one program and protects your privacy.
  • A single browser tab, ideal for working together inside a web-based tool or CRM module.

If you're unsure how to share your screen in Teams, don't worry — we're happy to guide you through it at the beginning of the call.

🎥 Are meetings recorded?

Some meetings may be recorded, but only in specific situations and always for internal purposes. This usually includes:

  • Preparing a detailed summary or action plan after the meeting
  • Reviewing technical details to ensure accurate implementation
  • Providing internal context for other team members involved in your project

We will always inform you beforehand if the meeting will be recorded. Recordings are stored securely and are not shared outside our team. Your privacy and confidentiality are very important to us.

🔐 How is my data handled?

All personal data and information shared during meetings — whether spoken or shown via screen share — is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can review the full policy at any time here:

💡 Final tips for a smooth meeting

  • Try to join the meeting a few minutes early to check your mic and connection.
  • If possible, close any unnecessary programs or browser tabs to improve performance.
  • Prepare any files, screenshots, or links you'd like to share — it makes the meeting more productive.
  • Feel free to ask questions or request clarification at any time. We’re here to help, not to rush!
